"Burmese x Ball python hybrid. Dad was a Ball python, mum was an Albino Burm.
£3500.00"

the only ones i know of are a pair, and they are not huge, but they have not got a very good temperament, but others may be ok.. |

Like you say that is a good looking snake but very expensive.
I'm presuming both snakes would have to have been a similar size for this to work!?! (I have no idea, just speculating here).

I'm not sure there has been an F2 breeding, quite a lot of Hybrids are infertile. I like Royals the size they are |

I dont think they were bred by traditional means, I seem to remember reading that the males sperm was implanted...

It's an attractive looking snake, but it just feels a bit weird and unnatural to me. Python from Asia + python from Africa? The very fact that the female needs to be inseminated artificially goes to show how bizarre the pairing is in my opinion! Maybe I'm a cynic, but it seems to me like it's just another way for someone to slap on an enormous price-tag and make a bundle of money off of something that's basically just a novelty. |

Even though I generally prefer wild-type snakes, I like the burmball! |
