Got up this morning to no light in Bliss's viv...

on checking the light on that stat is yellow, so is it the bulb?

Am presuming it is...

Just blug the bulb into the wall and see if it works? What model of stat is it?

Good idea Matty..

its a habistat...

the bulb is not working, have to get another, do they normally go that quickly then? only had it six weeks..

just replaced the bulb, but it smells, is it normal for a new one to smell? i cant remember..lol..

its a 150w bayonet infrared Eurorep..

I couldnt tell you how long bubls are supposed to last.

It will smell for a bit, thats normal.

sometimes you can just get a bad one anne. i had one out of a batch of four that i ordered and it didn't make two weeks. they should really last a lot longer than six weeks. if they are going to go it would be at the start when it is fluctuating more while establishing temps.
