this is her when i got her 3 weeks ago. she was 9 weeks old, now 3 months, and this is her eating a thawed mouse fuzzy, as you can see a bit to small for her, but had help from lovely people on this forum and so she will going onto rat fuzzies hopefully next week
sorry about the video quality, its only just been uploaded. Oh and the annoying voice is my sister, who claims she knows sooooo much about snakes (she has been reading your threads and claiming the knowledge for herself despite being scared of the things!!!!) so if you feel she is too annoying, please feel free to turn the sound off

good vid,if you feed it with tongs and keep hold of the prey when it grabs it and give it a wiggle,it should constrict |

she constricts now, if she strikes it then i give the mouse a little tug she will constrict. i tried to hold the mouse with tweezers today but admittedly made me jump when she struck so the mouse and my hand shot upwards and Boo missed, so i settled with putting it down for her, i think she was angry cause she then struck it again, constricted it

Om nom nom!
It's funny to see a snake strike at a mouse that's just sat there and not being wiggled. Ripley only strike feeds and since he's my only snake it's not something I've seen before.

aw she has never had any trouble with feeding, i thought she might because she is only 18 inches long and in a 3ft viv, but no not at all, is very happy and loves her dinner, unlike my brothers and sisters it doesnt go to waste |

Made me laugh! From 35 to 50 seconds in she seemed more interested in you outside the viv...... then 52, 53 secs.... ooohh i found some munch! Enjoyed. My corn is a very shy eater (have to leave prey for her and even leave room for few mins!), my royal and my brother's corn are strike feeders. |

hehe yea she does give some funny reactions. its like when i started her on rat pups, unlike her familiar white fur covered mice, the rats are pink and bald, and Boo just gave me a look saying "And what is that, your seriously not expecting me to eat that!!!" but because she had just finished shedding, she was hungry so it didnt take long to persuade her that they are just as tasty, possibly more tasty than her mice |

awww she's a gorgeous snake, and looked very curious too lol I'm getting my first royal soon, and have to admit, feeding was the thing I was a little worried about, but my mind has been put at ease after talking to the people in the shop and reading some of the posts on here. |

hehe she was eating fine then, now she is being a little cow bag. She is fussy as anything, and i thought i was lucky at first and had picked a non-fussy royal. Oh well |
