What i have always found with a faun is it brittle if you dont pick it up right it can crack and then its no good for anything then it might just be me though

I use to keep locust in mine for breeding and when i used to clean them out i would pick them up with one hand and where it is vented they crack there

Rubs are so much stronger

Agree completely, would be ok, but personally prefer RUBs.

Also sorry about asking so many questions probs p***ing you off, could I buy: http://www.pawsforthoughtpetcentres.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=401&zenid=558e1a66e422808e13f41f289212b073 for my baby so he can grow into it or will it make him feel insecure? Also when heating the tub shall I put the heat mat under the Rub or on top of the Rub under the aspen bedding thanks

Heat mat under the Rub and i would buy a small or medium size cave to start with large is a bit big

Thats up to you there are loads on the market these days but exo terra ones are really good and nice and heavy which makes the royal fill nice and snug

Oh ok np Danny I think its all the appropriate stuff I need, although can I have a large water bowl for him to grow into is that ok for his tub or do I need a small one, also do I need a thermostat for him or does it not matter, thanks alot for all your help, ill post my ball pthon soon thanks,

A large water bowl will increase the humidity, you only want 50-50% really.

You definitely need a thermostat, yes. If you're using a heatmat a Matstat will do, they're about £20.

I was told the water bowl should be the same size as the snake so he can get in and soak if he wanted to

And yes definitely need a thermostat

9L Hatchling will be perfect in this sizeand then i adjust the Rubs to suit what the royal is like
12L
33L or 50L

A 9L is fine for a hatchling, so 12L should be fine.
