Hi, I set up my hatchling kit this morning with all the necessary equipment, I was wondering, should the sensor on the thermostat be placed under the substrate or just dangling from the top?

would appreciate any information

excellent, thanks for your reply guys, i'll leave it on overnight and put the sensor on the thermostat, do you think it'd be ok to collect the snake in the morning? (at the moment the temperature is 24 degrees C)

i would personnally wait till the temps are right and you have got everything like a digi thermometer
