Hi Everyone,
I'm a newbie here and about to get my first snake, I have looked after my friends King Snake a few times before but that is the only experience I have had. I have been doing a lot of research but I haven't seen any advice on the best age too get your royal python. I have been looking around and the youngest batch I have seen so far are 6 months old, but I was wondering if I should be looking for something younger?
Many thanks for any help you can offer me. Paul |

Its liklely that an older indevidual will be an established feeder, so you will get fewer problems trying to get it eating. |

Agree with both of you.
However, I like to watch them grow from hatchlings too. |

I got Princess when she was three, I haven't had any feeding problems with her, and she's never balled up. I did miss out on seeing her grow up, although I'm getting to see that with Feather. |

My 3 royals were all bought as young hatchlings, I have had no problems feeding them and it's great to watch them grow and become more familiar and also to see there different characters develop |
