I was only holding her in that picture as that was saturday when we first got her home and the pet shop told me to hold her for 10mins as soon as we get in then put her in the viv and leave her to settle for a week!!!!

Lovely snake and viv, you might wanna replace the dial therm with a digital one, they are absolute rubbish, and up on the wall won't be measuring the temps you want

As above, I'd have a digital thermometer, they're only about £3 off ebay, just search for 'Digital Aquarium Thermometer'. Where's your thermostat probe placed?

How much does she weigh?

If you are using a heat mat then attached to the wall is no good, you need to be taking the temp were your snake will be- in your case, on top of the substrate.
