what age does a male royal have to be before breeding?

They've been known to breed from as young as 6 months, but I'd say at least a year and at least 600g, preferably 1000g before I thought about it. Obviously you'd have a 1500g+ female he'd be breeding with so you wouldn't want there to be too much of a size difference or he may get squashed/eaten! |

oh ok, well my male is a year old next month, would i be able to keep them in the same vivarium, like my corns, or do they have to be in different vivs? as i would love to get a female that i can keep them 2 together, thanks alot for reply |

ideally put them in together for a few days or a week at a time for mating and house them separately the rest of the time |

Snakes are not communal, so I would not keep any together personally. |
