That's awful Baldyman - I'm really thinking about you at this moment. Bet it was quite harrowing After recently losing a snake myself I appreciate how upsetting a death can be.
I believe the oven is a common hide away for escaped snakes- my cousin found her missing royal inside hers a few years ago. Luckily hers escaped with only minor burns.
