Hi all i have a standard 3x2x2 viv setup with heat mat. and was bought a 75w infrared heat glo light. is it worth putting into my viv at the hot end. my royal does like to hide away in a hollow log thats away from the heat mat so the light would provide another form of heat for it. is this something you guys would recommend or do yourselves..

please help..

phil.

yea. the heatmat is providing enough heat. which i know would be fine for the snake to find. just that the snake likes the high log. and i wanted to encourage it out a little...

Ditch the heat mat and just use an IR bulb. In a 3x2 viv I'm guessing you have many hides so your snake will have the choice of what temperature it wants.
