is it normal for a python to strike feed and eat 2 mice in 2 days? i fed him before i went away but my brother didnt know so fed him the day after and he struck and fed both times :) :) |

wow, he is a beauty, he will make some stunning offspring, and what a way to start, although even if i had had the money when i was getting my first royal i still would have chosen bulet, what am i saying, i did have the money, had 500, just wanted bullet |

LOL! Are you sure he's not a giant butter corn??
Well, it's better than being a shy feeder, I have a gannet royal myself,and they're great, but better to stick to proper feeding times in future imo! |

At that size yes, one mouse wont be enough, you need to get him on rats, cheaper and more nutritous. |

I've got a corn that length and one mouse is just enough for her, so I'd agree need to move him up a notch. |

i convert of put all my royals on rats as soon as poss if poss , apart from when they are very very small almost hatchlings...then i would probably use fuzzie mice just down to them having more keratin....from the hair, or something like that..... but adults , just point of view rats are the best staple |
