Hi All,

I just thought I would update you all, Shenzi has had his first feed today, I have had him a couple of weeks with no joy, I tried him with a mouse today and still wasn't interested so (on my pet shops advice when I bought him) I rubbed it with a chick and then tried him and he snatched it off me lol.

He then spent nearly an hour figuring out which end was meant to go first and finally got it right and eat it all up.

I am so proud lol.

Congrats!

And after the difficult shed too - sounds like he's settling in well with you. That's great news.

Congrats!

That is a nice feeling to finally get them righted.

Congratulations, its always a big relief when they have their 1st feed.
I`ve had this with one of my males but i was using multi`s.
Can i just give a little advice, on your next feed try not to scent the mouse so much as your Royal may get addicted to the smell and then you could have to have a chick available every time you feed.
