All our creatures have weird names... but the royal (Evra) is named after Evra Von, the snake boy, from the Darren Shan Vampire books
(and not the football player like some people dare to think  ) |

All mine are called Gladys - lol It's a Monty Python thing - lol my other half and kids all insist on individual names so we have
Big Missie (Adult corn snake) (female)
Little Missie, CB09 Royal normal (our first royal) (female)
Spiderman, CB09 Spider Royal (male)
Popsy or Popsicle, CB09 Lemon Pastel Royal (female)
Saphie, CB09 Black Pastel Royal (female)
Cinny, CB09 Cinnamon Pewter Royal (male)
Stacie (Anastasia), CB08 Royal (female)
Sparky, CB10 Fire Royal (female)
and last (but not for long - lol) CB10 Pastel Royal (male)as yet unnamed :)
As you can see they all have a ssss sound - lol |

Sabre = Curved sword (curved was the bit for me), It's hungarian verb to strike down. It's also a name of a sword used in Fencing for fast paced striking...... You get the jist, fast striking and curved.
Shadow = He's a jet black snake
Samson = Hebrew for sun child, Being a rainbow Boa seemed rather fitting |

Those are nice - I remember Shadow from that shedding video - cool snake - love black snakes and black cats.
Have you noticed how many of us seem to go for names beginning with 'S'?
If I have any more royals I've got 'Susheela', 'Seya', 'Sulah' and 'Siyaya' in mind ... must be the sssslitheriness and sssnakiness factor! |

The beardies: Aeris from FF7, Siyo Jina - Allegedly Swahili for 'No Name', Bubble and squeak, came with the names.
Kings: Trio came with his name, Chalkie came with hers, Chiquita came with hers, David Hisslehoff because he's got a brilliant 80s 'fro
Cornsnake: Crunchy Nut because it's crunchy nut cornsnake.
Hoggie: Telemachus from the 80's cartoon Ulysses 31
Boas: Marshmallow because he's so squirmy it's like trying to put a marshmallow into a penny jar, Charlotte because I like the name. (she was gonna be called Penny )
Royal: Monty because he came with the name, although that one is quite obvious really.
Chameleon: Clive because that's what my step-daughter named him for some reason.
Other beardie: Runty because that's what he is.
GAL: Cordelia
Giant millipede, unofficially known as Ed Millipede.
The others don't really have names, or I've forgotten them. |

Cecil- Just a name that stuck, for ages we talked about getting a snake and we made a joke that wen we got one it would be cecil and we we bought him home there was no other name for him lol
Skye - My fella picked, we wanted something short n was gna go with summer but then decided on skye, but i have re named her spider pig as she is a pig!!
corns
sydney de la dory - our rescue, she was with a friend whilst got the stuff ready for her and she named her dory and i wanted sydeney so i combined the names as her rescue was a joint effort.
Jenny (still not found) but i was watching alot of forest gump :/
philip - inspired from southpark, next corn i get will be terrance :D |

My corn is named Charlie,,, because when we first got him my daughter begged to call "her Lola" ... couple days in I realised on his records it said in captital letters MALE,... so of course Charlie and Lola so thats why he is Charlie now.
Matilda... a few days before we got her my daughter watched the film loved it so much and liked the brown in my carolina she suggested Matilda and it stuck. Also have a Frog.. George... from peppa pig lol!!
My Royal when he or she comes is to be named Morgana. Im a huge Merlin fan, my OH suggested we call him Merlin ... doesn't quite have the same appeal does it so we came up with Morgana as a possibility. Saw the name down on the corn forum and it just sounded more perfect. :). |

Morgana's gorgeous - I once thought of 'Morgan' after the character 'Morgan le Fay' in Dion fortune's 'Sea Priestess'. But 'Morgana' is perfect.
