I'm in the middle of building a viv and before I'll finish it I would like to ask for your suggestion. Is there anything that I need to change or add before I will put the glass on?

ps I know about the vents however I couldn't find them today.

What substrate are you going to use?
A lip at the front on the floor will stop everything falling out
(unless the glass incudes a lip, in which case just ignore me lol)

Yep, I agree with Figs, it'll need a 'threshold' to keep the substrate from spilling out when the doors are opened.

Cheers. I was thinking about the lip but I didn't want to do it before I'll get my glass and runners. I wan't see them firs and then I will know how to screw in the lip. On the top there is no lip too - there is just 2 boards to better keep the temperature and to cover pieces of wood (top frame).

The MDF looks like it is bare, unsealed which would swell when wet so you might want to seal with a coat of varnish.
Apart from that....Nice job!

You are right Sandi. I bought this bare mdf just because it was the cheapest one and I'm not gonna to see the sides outside anyway. I've never thought about swelling caused by water. As you've said varnish will be the best solution. Thanks
