My apologies for the hideous photo quality, he wasn't about to stay still and I wasn't about to put the flash on. I couldn't believe how light he was, I was thinking fat royal and near threw him over my shoulder picking him up  |

| heheheh!! hes great! congrats ! he got a name yet ? we heard form the lady regarding that royal and i now have a foto , eeeeek! i need to do some serious eye flutterings to ensure we can bring him home hehe! she still thinks the viv we have 30 x18x 15 is too small , but if the rule is length plus width its 4 foot , and hes only three ? ? |

Hi, Laws, the viv you have is bigger than the rubs many adult royals are kept in - personally I like 3' vivs for royals but unless he's a whopper that viv will do him for now - in fact many people will tell you he will feel more secure in a smaller enclosure. It's all a matter of viewpoint! Might be a good idea to start your own thread on this and get more ideas? Hope you get your royal.

I'm in love already. he (not really sure but all mine are he's in my mind) is so funny, been watching him on and off all day. He has found his hot end hide, but is sat curled on it rather than in it. He's also watching me, just sitting staring at me. He's also sitting in a brilliant ready to pounce position, just waiting for something tasty to walk by. He'll be waiting until Sunday but I have all the excitement now of is he a strike feeder, I hope so but know it will make me jump out of my skin my other 2 are both lazy feeders.
Edit to add: He seems to be getting more pink as the afternoon goes on too, thats pretty impressive. |
