Aww! Boooaatiful!
If I had the space and a partner/housemate to assist with handling, I would love an albino Kahl strain boa (don't know whether this is constrictor or imperator, I'm not very well informed) - the boa is the one snake which appeals to me more in albino form.
But, in its absence in my house, I'm happy to admire other people's ... |

He is a Hogg Island Boa. (I'm not clued in on the BCI BCC bit but I think Hogg's are BCI's). He is beautiful and odd at the same time, he goes quite pale and almost pink at night and then darkens up through the day. He isn't supposed to get over 6 feet but I've held a Hogg that was very much over 6 feet. |

I love Hogg Islands, but we can't afford one yet, their markings are stunning! |

They aren't all that expensive, well they are more than a Royal. Cheers Sandi for clarifying the BCI bit, they are amazing and their scales are totally differet again to corns and royals, they are all pointy and have a lot more movement in them. Stunning snakes. The thing that surprised me is how good natured this one is, he has been handled regularly by the breeder and it does show, he doesn't get annoyed at all been picked up, and the way the eyes follow you just mesmerises me. |
