He's 9 months old and been a bit daft but what is his blushing?
Just a few more of Duke. He was having a right explore of the sofa so decided to grab a few snaps before putting him back.

Ha, it took me ages to work out 'blushing' myself where snakes were concerned.
Basically it's the opposite of human blushing where a red pigment enters pale or brown skin. Snake blushing is the airbrushed looking pale bits, bleached looking bits, along the length of the snake.
don't know why they call it that but they do.
And Duke does have nice blushing - sounds a bit sissy for a guy ... |

Thanks, I love his white bits too but my favourite bits are the line of gold down his neck and then it breaks up a bit down his back then goes back to a solid line right down his tail.
He was weighed yesterday and he came in at a hefty 612 grams (or 1.35lb in old person), Thats his empty weight, the poo he did just before he shed was GIGANTIC and he lost a load of weight out of him. |
