Yeah, he is a very shy boy so I think he likes that he can move about under it and unless I'm paying attention I cant see him (or so he thinks). I got it at City Reptiles in Belfast, I've not seen it anywhere else.

That plant is so cool - never seen it anywhere on the web - perhaps it only grows in NI??

Oh i love that plant, i had real one like that years ago but cant think of its name. Must get more for florence, she likes to hide in a big way. She came out to change hides from cold to hot this morning and i wondered what it was that i saw moving....got so used to inactivity in her viv!!!

we are having an in active spell , i peered in early and as it happens i do own a royal...i can see his lil grumpy snout in the enterance to his hide....thats the only action we have had lol !

Fittonia, aka snakeskin plant. It's a sod to keep, as it requires just as precise temps and humidity as a GTP.

CAN'T understand why the artificial variety is only grown in NI!
