She ate 3 rat pinkies today. and OMG she is SOOO quick, i mean like if you blink you'll miss her, she drags them into her hide like something out of a horror movie, you can imagine the little pinkies screaming AHHHH! NOOOOO! 
My sister has taken a video and is taking some of the frames for pictures, Wendy is even too quick for the camera, and that camera manages to catch our stupid Bedlington flying through the air with a toy lol |

LOL - that's great - now that her stomach's healed I bet you could move her on to fuzzies or even a small weaner. Sure sounds like she's enjoying life. CongRATs again!
It's really funny when they grab like that - fed Missy today and just held up the mouse some distance away to show her what I'd brought her ...wham! She shot out like a whip and snatched it off me! |

| Lol, they don't have manners do they, their parents should have taught them not to snatch xD haha. I'm going to try her on a small rat weaner in about a week. Our petshop doesn't do fuzzies D= Really though, i think she should be on large weaners, but she doesn't like the larger foods, either that or she doesn't like fur O__O I wonder what my mom would think if she saw me with the dog clippers trying to shave the rats xD |

I love the excitement a new snake owner feels towards their serpent. It's wonderful :D

LOL - imagine the rat getting a No1 cut ...
Yeah, she's a big lass, going by Blackecho's guide of feeding 10/15% of bodyweight, I'm sure she could manage a large weaner which (according to my supplier, but suppliers vary) weighs 55g approx. An XL weaner would be 80g (again can only go by my supplier.)
However, she's had those burns and is only just getting back into full feeding mode - it will do her no harm to start slowly and build up to the right size eventually. She's doing so well - you must be really proud! |

I know who to call should any of my serpents get sick, you've done a brilliant job. I agree with BATS (she talks sense) its best to work her up to the bigger foods though three pinkies is a good sized meal so she is well on her way. It won't be long until your feeding rats the size of small dog through a riot shield.
They really have no manners but its one of the best bits of keeping them watching them eat. Duke likes to throw his rats, Sanke cuddles them till they ooze claret, only Spot is gentle and quite polite as snakes go, he will take it from the tongs quite calmly. |

Haha, thanks guys =D It's so exciting and i'm so happy she's starting to eat now, can't wait for her to start putting a bit more weight on, and looking better =D
My Bedlington has his stupid fat head pressed up the viv trying to look in, so i'll have to warn him xD lol. |
