The lady I was looking to buy the late CB1) girl off seems to have dissapeared and is very non commital about the whole thing, i can't be dealing with people like that so I have decided to wait to get a 2011 hatchling, just have to be patient now and wait for the eggs to start hatchling and the little tinkers to et eating.... didn't think I would be wishing the time away quite as much.... although trying to find someone that breeds 'normals' in my area is proving to be fun...
That is just so annoying when people won't respond to enquiries about their adverts. You're probably better off not dealing with someone like that, though that's cold comfort ...
What area are you in? Could be a good idea to post in Classifieds to see if anyone here in your area is breeding or knows of a breeder.
I'm assuming you've seen the RFUK classifieds too, and also Preloved is a good source, especially if you don't mind taking on an older snake. Many of these come with their own setups (often the pet of a teenager whose interests are changing/who's leaving home for uni) and there are some bargains. My Saada plus setup cost me £150 - it would have cost me £150 alone for the setup, never mind Saada.
Also some shops courier long distance for a reasonable fee. I've just got my gopher snake from Blue Lizard near Sheffield - you can look at their stock online and they're happy to discuss the snake over the phone. They couriered her to me for I think it was £14/15 (same rate throughout UK) and she was fine.
