It's now been 10 days since i've seen Dio. I was supposed to be going to the OH's tonight but he cancelled at the last minute for no reason so will now have to wait a week or 2 more before i get a chance to see Dio again. I really wanted to take a picture of him all blue as well I'm missing his first shed with us.

I'm definately missing Dio more than the OH. The most annoying thing is i paid for Dio and the viv and i don't even get to see him.

LOL, got yourself a reliable keeper there! You should move little Dio to yours, I'd go mad if I couldn't check on my lot every day.

I'm not allowed to have him here as my friend who i rent my room off doesn't like snakes and i don't think my rat would like him either.

Unlucky. I think the rat might sleep with 1 eye open if there was a snake in the room. You'll have to setup a webcam in the viv so you can log on and check in on him.

Knowing Asti it'd be Dio sleeping with 1 eye open lol. That would be a good idea. Shame i can't train Dio to bite him everytime he picks him up or poop on him.

They are great. You can train them just like a dog. Unfortunately i couldn't train mine as they were/are female and i rehomed them when they were 8 months old so were a bit too old to learn. My first rat was great. He learnt to resond to his name and learnt a couple of trick. He was such a lap rat too he loved curling up and going to sleep on my chest.

I had a mouse a few years back that was super tame and would sit watching TV but I never knew you could train them. I'll never feel the same feeding Duke again lol.

Watching all these youtube video's is making me want more rats lol. I think i may have to find all my videos of mine. I've already told the OH hooded fancy rats are banned from Dio'd diet as thats what all mine have been.

Thanks for that info, I never knew they were different from wild ones. I like the hairless ones they are freaky looking and I would have to knit it a jumper (well someone who can knit would).

haha rat ar5ed rats! My dog once knocked over a bottle of beer and drank it off the floor while I was out the room, poor fella was legless. All over the place, had to put him to bed.

You can get tailless one's now which seems to be a bit pointless as thats one of a rats best features.

Drunk rat is quite funny. She will drink it out of your glass if you keep it still for long enough.
