After refusing the last 4 feeds we decided to try Dio on the last mouse fluff we had left as he had been out alot yesterday and was looking at me like he was hungry.

Thought i'd try the hairdryer to heat it up ( mouse ended up being blown all over the work top as it kept slipping out of my fingers) once it was warmer i dangled it infront of Dio but i backed away from it. I left it ontop of his bark hide and when i got up for work this morning it was gone

I know a mouse fluff is too small for him but it's better than nothing and i wouldn't have mattered if he had left it. I'm happy now he's got something in him as he's going blue already. He only last shed on the 26th April.

BRILLIANT NEWS, let hope he gets a taste for rodent now and feeds more frequently. I

Duke refused his meal last night, I turned his bowl over and put it on top to raise it up a bit, he came out, had a look and thought no thank you. Its a shame Sanke is still too small to tackle a rat weaner because she was sat right at the airholes tongue flicking wildly when I was preparing it for Duke.

I hope he keeps eating, he took the first 4 feeds with us then stopped when he shed. I'm going to try him on thursday on the right size mouse if he hasn't gone completely blue by then. And just to make sure he's been active enough i'll make sure he gets lots of time out of his viv to work up his appetite.

Thought i'd try Dio on a medium mouse today as when i kept opening the fridge earlier he went into strike pose as the wiff of ham. Put it in his viv at just before 9, turned everything off and went and sat in the bedroom. Just checked back and no mouse and a very content Dio with his head poking out of his hide. I know i didn't wait the 5 days but he's been looking like he wanted feeding today lol.
