last Thursday, she ate two rats, On Friday I noticed she had gone blue.
Decided to try her on a rat tonight, she ate it, and then ate another. whilst she was eating I saw she had broken her skin from her nose, ten mins later she had a complete 100% shed, go girl :) |

last time I checked, she was 1.86kg, but she has eaten about 7 rats since. I only have 1 refusal, thats the adult male, 1.63kg and lazy as hell. My two babies around 350g never refuse either.
I think I am quite lucky as I can guarantee that I can sit and watch all four of them every night. They are not shy in the day times, but once I drop the temps at 9, they are all out and about.
happy Days :) |

Oh, good lass!
Yeah, I don't offer if I know my snakes are blue, though the corns will often eat, and Saada, my long-term fasting royal, once took me by surprise, so I offered, and she took - depends on the snake, I suppose, but I do like to see them ready for their grub, whatever. Congrats! |

I suppose been prepared to eat while in blue and pretty from their POV just shows how at home you've made them. Can't be a bad thing. Duke refuses when blue, my cornsnake might eat might not so I dont bother and Sanke will eat no matter what mainly becasue she is so pale its hard to tell if she is blue, only sign I see is she goes all wrinkly. |
