Spider to spider is currently considered a myth since nobody can prove the super spider lethal theory.
Brian Barczyk owns a spider that, since 2008 never produced anything but a spider. Statistics would say this particular spider is a super form (double spider gene) but Brian is not comfortable saying it is.
The fact of the matter is - breeders don't bother with a spider to spider pairing because there's no super form and nothing else to prove out. And buyers are wary of spiders because of the wobble, so they're not best sellers on their own merit. So, they'd rather pair the spider to something else to get a more marketable morph. And to prove out the super lethal myth, you need the number of pairings that only a commercial breeder can achieve - unless you're willing to wait 20 years to prove a theory. |

slightly off topic, but what is it with the spider wobble? does it affect the health of the snake or does it just look a bit tipsy all the time? |
