This is possibly going to sound crazy, but does anyone have a snake that is scared or put off by certain things or people?

I think I've discovered Serenity's problem with eating.
Both times I've fed her on my own she's struck instantly and huggled up to the rat for a while.
However, when my OH is in the room, she either takes AGES to strike at the rat, or just doesn't bother at all.
Could it be linked? Or could it just be coincidence?

I wouldn't say it's impossible but it's doubtful. It's possible she's put off by the two of you crowding her if you're both close to the viv or rub but I doubt she can even really tell the difference in you or your oh.

I could be wrong but sounds coincidental to me.

Thing is we don't crowd her, my OH usually sits down out of view and just watches, however it gets to the point where my arm aches and he has to take over wiggling, so maybe crowding is the issue.
I still think she's scared of my OH (At least I can blame someone then for her fussyness)

And as for not being able to tell the difference, ask my King snake that when she bites me but is as sweet as pie to my OH >.< lol

I think there's alot of things effect the feeding process except the temp and the humidity like, ppl who fed the snake, the place where the viv is placed ....etc
