Heya,
I'm on day 45 now of egg incubation and trying to work out what I should be expecting over the next week to two weeks, and have a few questions:
I have kept humidity constant, and temps constant - around 90%, and 89f and so far the eggs seem fine, all are still white, and all have veins still!
Some people mention dropping the temp a degree or two (f) around now, and most people say the eggs should start to dimple - is it worrying that I am not seeing them dimple at the moment? Do all eggs dimple? If I am not seeing dimpling, does this imply the eggs are too moist? they are semi-buried in vermiculite at a 1 to 1 ratio.
Do I just keep going and keep an eye out, or is there something I need to be changing now?
Thankyou

We don't drop temps in the USA during an incubation cycle.
You're doing ok. Just wait a little longer. Incubation period can go all the way up to 65 days and dimpling doesn't occur until a few days prior to hatching. Just a little more patience. |

Thankyou! I can't wait, ha ha, I've had snakes for 6 years, but never bred them.. It's all gone without a hitch so far!
