this is my new boy i picked up, is lovely and just settling in to his new home. im looking for a female to mate him with, just normal cause itll be my first breeding. he is 4 years old and around 1300gs

yea hes the biggest of the 2 i had the choice of, but would it mean the female i get needs to be bigger? he is lovely and very docile :)

Great looking snake, the female will be bigger anyway at least in weight that is cause if I've read right on here females should be at least 1600g to give them a good chance of staying healthy after laying her eggs |

Yes, as Reptilemadd says - your female needs to be that weight in order to avoid egg binding/damaging weight loss during prEGGnancy ...
He's a lovely big lad - all the best with breeding with him. |

I know people say go like 1,500-1,600 minimuim for a female, but just me myself, I'd never breed a girl below 1,700. |
When on the Forums, always be nice, stick to the rules and help when you can.
