Fed my newly christened carpet python Luna for the 1st time today, she was to nervous to strike (being near a shed) but I left the rat pup at her hide entrance and its vanished now so glad as her breeder had a job getting her to feed at first so

Congrats - always nerve-wracking the first time, and difficult if you're not sure how the snake likes to feed ...Cool name by the way, suits her!

Thanks Have to admit the name came from the Harry Potter films BATS we were trying to decide on a name (was originally meant to be called Delta, but she doesn't suit it!) and my OH thinks Luna Lovegood is a hilarious character in the films so Luna it is! I didn't let him name the other two so felt it was his turn!
