I fed george today and it was an odd one, whilst defrosting his fluff i got him out as usual and he was in deep! blue, he was perfectly clear yesterday so this was a bit of a shock.
Anyway, george is not a problem feeder whatsoever so as usual i offered the rat.
after a couple of misses (which is usual for him whilst in blue), he must have got frustrated and he decided to just open his mouth and i literally had to put it in his mouth, he didnt even coil, he just gently took it and after holding it in his mouth for a few minutes gulped it down like it was......well a rat :)

anyway i just thought id share that with you all :)

Aww bless him! He's a good lad! One of my corns once did that - she wasn't in blue but when I opened her viv to feed her she just lolloped out and opened her mouth, all ready for her mouse, the great soppy lump. Sounds like George is just as laid back and placid.

oh wow, I would love to see any of mine take a feed that way, how can they really be just driven by hunting instincts when they can sit and wait for a meal that way, amazing :)
