Okay, my spider ate. Whew! Saw a big fat poo in his viv, so he might have gotten constipated or something. I fed him that night after I shovelled the poo and he chomped down in 3 seconds flat!
Now, if I can only get this silly hognose to feed. He's going on 2 months now!
Yeah, BE... can we make this a sticky? |

Have you tried Daz?
yup...still no joy... |

there are quite a few breeders on the dark side in yorkshire get her some, then she will feed |

I agree with Anne on the multis.
AND I'M OFFICIALLY OFF THE CLUB! WOOOTEEEWOOO!!!
But, I got a problem. My husband decided the western hognose has gone on too long without a feed, so he went out to the lake and got a small frog. Zeke chomped it down in no time! I mean, we were debating on the best way to euthanize a frog as they are not as sensitive to the keyboard cleaner and my husband decided to let the snake do it for us. He finished the frog and was still sniffing the place the frog was in, so my husband went out to the lake again to get another frog and Zeke chomped down on that one too.
Now I'm worried. I mean, there are just too many diseases/parasites/what-have-you out there in the wild. So, those frogs are probably not the best thing for Zeke to eat. I'm calling the vet tomorrow to ask.
And isn't that typical of me to go feed the snake a wild frog before calling a vet about it... sigh.

oh no were you trying a mouse or a rat? he won't take anything that's too big, or not hot enough, what time of day did you try? it's early morning and late nights when i've had most success. |
