Very nice Great upgrade

That water bowl is massive lol ;)
Bet mine wish they has a swimming pool in there house

Out of intrested how's the humidity in the viv with the bulb

thanks. to be honest i dont know. i only up the humidity when their shedding the rest of the time its whatever the natural humidity is in my house. which im guessing is around 50-60%

I was just wondering as with the heat coming of the bulb and the water bulb in there
It must up the humidity a bit

there at opposite ends so dont think it will be a problem. will het a hmidity reader and check at some point

i have a bowl that size in my 4ft viv at the cold end and humidity is around 50%

1.1 normal royal, sully, silver
0.1 pinstripe royal, penny
1.1 pastel royal, lars, clover
0.1 lesser royal, serenity
0.1 black pastel royal, betty
0.1 mojave royal, mavis
0.1 normal het clown
1.0 pastel het clown
1.0 nuclear, ned
1.0 super phantom
1.0 childrens python, myles
0.1 hog island boa
0.1 sonoran x boa, grace
0.0.1 mack snow leopard gecko, munchkin
4.1 cats, stan, dave, marble, binx, daisy
4.1 rabbits, mol, ted, bill, spud, alice
0.1 crazy cat/bunny lady of bridgwater, lucy

thats good to know. will move it when she goes blue. need to give both my new royals a bath. their a bit dirty from the disgusting bedding they were on when i got them

yea hopefully they do. they both seem much happier now their in clean viv's with proper heating

Looks great, and a happy snake too.

Mine have water bowls the same size in their 3' vivs and when they're in blue I move the bowl into the hot end and they shed fine. Surahi had a bit of skin stuck last time but it was during that freak hot spell when a couple of my colubrids had bad sheds despite extra humidity. I don't find the large bowl causes any condensation or anything like that - mind you I usually half fill it, so that if they get in, the water doesn't get out.

iv got my water bowl in the middle of my 2 foot viv for my normal. that viv is on a bulb and the humidity is 55-60%. she still likes her damp hide tho... reckon iv got a shed on the way.

1.1.0 corns (amel + carolina)
2.3.0 normal, fire, pastel and 2 bumblebee royals
1.0.0 jungle carpet python

Nice set up.
I never had my humidity stable, it always moves between %45-%70 :P

That home made one would be perfect for something Aboreal... Good excuse to get a carpet

been moving vivs to free up some room. now have space for another viv or 2. mmm what to get next, more royals, carpet or a boa?
