As some guys wanted to see this, and i dunno wot happened to last ones pictures and it wouldnt let me edit it i thought i would repost these.
B&Q cut them all to size for me from one piece of 200cm X 60cm board. (nice people)
it starts to take shape
almost done
add edgeing tape, vent, glass, small light and heat mat. sorted!
A 24x15x15 wooden viv built for under £30 (not including mat)
As it is now. (light is a normal one now not a flourescent tube)
just wanted to show you guys that you dont always have to spend alot to have a good set up.
Here are the plans if anyone wants to have a go. all cut from one piece of board.

Daz's post is very good, but the flatpack vivs are so cheap these days - you can buy a 2' viv from Surrey pet supplies for £28, delivery £5, complete with glass, everything, and very easy to put together.
ps any probs ask me - I've done 7 of these critters now and if I can do it - anyone can lol. |

as long as you use pet safe silicon to seal all of the edges and raw faces it shouldnt be a problem |

Thanks for sharing, I'm going to follow these steps next pay day... Don't suppose you have the measurements for the glass etc?
Also where do you buy the glass runners? and glass for that fact?
Cheers in advance! |

You may be waiting a while for a response on this, this was posted nearly 4 years ago. Once you build the viv and put the runners in which you can buy on ebay reptile shops. Just take a measurement then go to a glazier they should be able to cut it to size, failing that if your building this viv it's small enough to take it with you and get them to measure it for you. |
