Hi guys hope all are well, just a quick poo question I'm affraid I've had my little girl since the Donny show in Sep she's doing great eating more than her fair share, drinking and sheding all ok however she's only done what I would call 1 normal poo and that was the day after she arrived, she is pooing regularly but they are usually piles of mush so my question is do I need to arrange a vets appointment or just leave her to it?

Blitz did it 3 times with me since March 2011, and everytime he did it it looks diferrent !!!
first time, it was three hard black balls, second, a massive big wet poo and the third big dry poo !!
i don't know if this helps, but i though i could share

It doesn't sound like anything I've seen long-term from my 3 (amendment! 4! Sorry Shiva!)royals, certainly (although corn droppings usually are mushy) but of course it may be normal for her.

However, imo, could be a good idea to ring an exotics vet for a) advice (most vets I've found will have a quick chat in person if they can come to the phone) and b)to arrange to take in a sample of Ariadne's faeces for testing and perhaps Ariadne too for a checkup if the vet thinks this is necessary.

Even if there's nothing untoward, it would put your mind at rest. Do hope she goes on okay and all the best with her.

Yeah I'd go with the faecal sample idea just to check for any parasites but I think the most likely cause is your snake is drinking a lot and might be worth doing a quick review of temperatures and humidity (it can't hurt anyway).

Thanks For sharing Tawfik lol, I'm sure she'll be fine thanks bats, and I think she may be drinking a lot bob she keeps shifting her stat probe so her temps are all over the place so I'll try and secure it somehow thats safe for her then let the temps settle and she how she goes thanks again guys.
