Looking on the care sheet for royals i noticed the topic on humidity which recommends 50 to 60,so yesterday went to the local pet store and brought a humidity gauge and put in center of tank near the bottom,it was giving readings of 42 so i researched how to increase the humidity and decided to put another water bowl the heater side of the tank, got up this morning and the water had definitely gone down and the gauge was reading 39,how this has happened i just dont know, the temps in my viv at the moment are 32.4 and 25.8 in the cool side, ive had her 3 weeks now and she a not missed a feed so must be happy i would of thought,im using a carpet mat for the bottom of the viv has i use them on my other 2 tanks for my corns as they are easy to change and clean they have no problems with shedding and feeding so thought it might be ok for royals maybe im wrong any info would be apreciated
