As above , he done it on sat a day before his feed so I thort he was showing he was hungry but he done it again last night
Any ideas?

No idears but my boy Merlin yawns quite a lot, at least several times a week. |

it might be a real yawn, but I think its related to the fact they can dislocate their jaws, maybe its just a re-aligning yawn. |

yeah, guess it's just a way of having a stretch? i imagine there's a hell of a lot of muscles etc that need to be looked after in those mouths, bit of exercise! |

They can yawn as we do but its most likely just stretching. They actually don't dislocate their jaws but do occasionally need to realign them as the joint is very flexible. Another reason I have seen in my corn snake is yawning to stretch the skin around his mouth and head before shedding. |
