I am looking to identify this little Jimmy Spinner.

I think its a very fat common house spider youngster but it has a very slight look of false widow about it too. Anyway just thought I'd share as its really pretty.

I might be wrong but I thought the false widow was black.

Last year one fell off the ceiling on to my daughter and bit her..she had a red patch for ages.

There are a few spiders that are commonly known as false widows, a variety of colours but all have a similar body shape. I am almost certain its just a a big fat common but just holding onto it until it can be identified.
