I will of owned my baby royal 2 weeks tomorrow and she started to shed thursday. She has lost all under her belly and back end but her head and about 4 inches down her back has yet to come off. I have helped her out a little by gently peeling some off off. It feels quite dry and what is left on is stuck on very well. If it hasnt all come off by tomorrow how can i help her get the rest of it off? All her underneath is off and her tail its just a little from her head down about half way down her back? Thanks

get a pillow case damp with warm water(just damp not wet) place her in there an tie the top. leave her in there for 10-20 mins (supervised) the friction as they move an the damp helps remove the shed

you can also put a damp hide in. damp moss or just a damp flanel in a plastic box with a hole cut in or put a damp flanel in one of the hides.
also up the humidity but putting the water bowl on the heatmat/under the bulb and spray the viv with water a couple of times a day

Exactly the same is happenin to mine, she firstly lost all off her head and belly then bits off her sides but still some still on her and she doesn't seem happy about it, I've tried the pillow case and put an extra bowl in the warm end for humidity. Hopefully this will pass, question is how long is too long to shed? She did a funny lookin pee/poo so hope all is ok?

its usually a couple of days after they clear up they will shed.
i had bad broken up sheds an retained shed with both of my royals so now i move the water bowl an spray the viv when i see them go blue up untill they have shed. last time was a perfect shed just the tail tip left on

Hope she goes on ok and yours too Cwilloughby. Loads of people seem to be having this problem - I've got my royals' water permanently in their warm ends now. What was her motion like, Matco?

Ah, that sounds fine - while all snakes pass ordinary liquid wee, as well as creamy white sludge which is also wee, royals also pass solid wee, known as 'urates' or 'urate balls.'

This charming pic (DO hope you aren't feeling queasy after the celebrations lol!) shows two large urate balls either side of the royal log.

So your little girl will have passed a nice healthy wee.
