Hey guys,
I was reading my Boa book and there it says potting compost( without perlite) makes a good, natural substrate.
Have you heard of this or even better used it? |

| not used it myself but the chap i bought my boa from had all his on what looked like some sort of compost |
1.1 normal royal, sully, silver
0.1 pinstripe royal, penny
1.1 pastel royal, lars, clover
0.1 lesser royal, serenity
0.1 black pastel royal, betty
0.1 mojave royal, mavis
0.1 normal het clown
1.0 pastel het clown
1.0 nuclear, ned
1.0 super phantom

Its supposed to absorb odor and liquid plus of course give the natual appearance that I prefer.
It might be worth a try :) |

| yeh it worked really well,easy to clean,dont smell,i dryed mine out for oscur,but it is good at holding moisture.If i remember right it did stain her belly after a few years. I went to it because i used corn cob,which beardy ate,and vet adviced me of this.She lived for 14 years on it quite happy. Im 36-7 now and i was 24 when she died so it was some years ago. |
