I know right, he might take off if i give him helium lol
whats it like to own a frog ? A bit boring, he doesn't do much. Hes not like the angry frogs in the videos on youtube, hes pretty placid and ive yet to hear him scream. My son thinks hes great but does tend to stick his fingers quite close to his mouth and they do bite. Hes great to look at but not really a touchy feely animal like snakes can be..
what do they eat and do they jump high? Someone else asked this today, i haven't done much frog biology reading but (and I can only assume) they dont have great height but do good distance, very small legs and a very large body probably makes it quite hard to hop any height at all, but ive seen him hop far and quick. He eats meal worms and waxworms at the minute, ive heard of them eating seafood like shrimp, prawns and fish. The OH feeds his guppies and goldfish. When they get bigger they can manage larger prey like mice.
Thanks for looking all, give him another fortnight and ill stick some more up...
