Hi All

Should i be worrying if Bo hasn't fed yet? We've tried him on a fluff but he wasn't interested. The shop were feeding him twice a week on the same, but for us he shows no interest in food, have even tried him on a pinkie tonight but nothing :(

Understand it could be stress/new home/bad shed etc, but dont want him getting ill because he wont eat.

Just a bit worried about the little one :(

Yeah Royals are notoriously stressy little monsters. Moving can cause them to not eat. What is your setup like? It may be too open which can also cause them to not eat or too bright. It took me three weeks of little adjustments to settle my Royal down and get him eating.

Well, i had a think and at the weekend i attempted to re-create the viv he was in at the pet shop, we also added a UV light - anyway since then he has been a totally different snake, climbing and looking like he was really at home.

Tonight we placed a small mouse on some kitchen roll inside the viv and left it, as this is how the shop had been feeding him.

Just went in to check and its gone :)

You are right, sometimes small adjustments help!!
