Not really got any videos of this one but as she is now a calmer snake I thought it was time to let her shine, she is such a nosey thing.

So a year in the making here is Sanke the calm Hogg

She gets more and more beautiful - is that pale colouration her 'evening' look, and she'll get deeper coloured in the daytime, right? Beautiful snake or should I say Sanke lol.

Yeah that's her nightwear colouration, she is quite rusty looking through the day.

shes lovely bob! when u say shes calmed down , what was she like before ? Ive noticed that Rudi who according to the seller was abitey baby , well shes not bit us yet , but she seems to turn her head at any movement u make when u have her out and sometimes recoils her head back and looks like she could pop u . if u move slowly tho shes fine to have a nosey around .

She was a good bit defensive, she wasn't handled until I got her so has taken a bit of time for her to be comfortable to be just out like that. She has struck out a few times and still will I'm sure. I actually hold myself a bit responsible, I kept her in a rub for nearly a year and she just wasn't happy in there, since moving into her viv she is a different snake, she was the only one I ever put in a RUB and I'll never do it again.
Today is feeding day and she is all crinkled around the neck so she was actually in blue in that video, I noticed a few tatty scales (as you see in the vid, I touch them) but until she goes wrinkly its almost impossible to know she is in blue unless I see her through the day then her colouration makes it more obvious.

She is utterly gorgeous Rob :) and it looks like she enjoyed her outing.

I was at my mum's since after feeding yesterday..came home today to find Fea telescoping, trying to lift the window on his faun. I couldn't take him out as only 27hrs since his mouse.

i noticed lex has a fair few rough scakes so im wondering if another shed is on the way . Rudi hasnt been handled either and u can just tell shes not comfy with it yet . taking it slow and steady with her and will try and slowly get her used to it . Brax is a softie and the complete opposite u can tell he just wants to check everything out and Lexi will also check everythin out while making sure shes holding u tight somewhere

Yeah it takes a bit of time for them to settle into been handled specially if they haven't been handled from birth but they get there. It has been worth all the nervous 'is she about to bite me' times, short handling sessions almost daily are paying off now as she will happily have an explore of me and the sofa while I watch TV etc and I am only slightly cautious of making sudden moves round her but not because I'm worried she will bite, she hasn't struck at me in ages now but more that I dont want to set her back or give her any excuse to think been out is scary.
