Hi, some of you may know that I've had Syd for just over a month now. When I got him the previous owner said he was on weaner Rats. I was going to do a bulk order online for rats and mice for my corns but I wonder if he should be on larger food than weaners? He weighed 1726g when I checked last, he hasn't eaten since I had him but I'm not concerned about that...yet! Just wanted to check before I end up with a freezer full of weaners if he should be on bigger?
I was thinking of using A&N frozen if that makes a difference size wise?

A&N are good, and very cheap if you can buy in bulk. They're often out of stock but if you ring Nicky (mobile no reaches her most often) she will let you know when anything you need is going to be available, and reserve it for you.

A&N rat weights (approximately) -

small weaner - 37g
medium weaner - 45g
Large weaner - 55g
XL weaner - 80g
Small rat - 106g
Medium rat - 162g

Hope this helps.

so ideally he should be on medium rats then! Will see what they've got in!

He should by the sound of him - but I'd ease him up gently - say XL weaners for 3 meals, then 3 meals of small rats, then on to the mediums.
