Yeah I know the name is cliché but nevermind!
She arrives at about 11:30 today and finally at about 2:00 we had her in her new home, It's a bit too high for her at the moment but hopefully it'll be okay when she gets a bit bigger.
She is a 5" salmon pink birdeater (Lasiodora parah-something latin)
and seems friendly enough, though I haven't touched her yet...
This is her coming out her little cricket box! (I tried to video it for my youtube channel but the camera was out of juice, next time maybe)
First she went for a scurry up the wall (thinking it might be a good idea to take the backdrop out to stop her climbing it)
And then she decided to go live on the mesh roof for a while...
And finally retreated to her hide where she sat for a long time until I moved and she got scared and ran inside the hide haha, yes fear me little spider!! I have tamed the beast!!!

not bad at all. take it thats one of them exo terra things?
im going to get a slightly bigger tank for Bernadette at some point so ive got a bit more room to get my hand inside for handling etc |
