The bad shed wont be helping, will be feeling quite uncomfortable, might be wirth a quick trip to a damp pillowcase for 20 minutes or so, use your hands to make him move through the case, that dead skin will be off in no time.

I wouldnt worry too much about not feeding it takes a while to settle them in and at that weight a few weeks off the grub wont do any harm at all.

Dunking them in water is stressful and the most common response to it is immediate fleeing. Damp is just damp, wet it wring it out, job done. Its dark and confined so strangely keeps them calm, I had to fight Duke back out of there he liked it and his bad shed came off within an hour of been put back in the vivarium. made a right mess in there but worth it to keep him comfortable.

Hi, Blondie, sorry if this sounds like I'm blowing my own trumpet, but did you see this over on general keeping?
