Alaska. Female CB11 Blizzard/Powder. My slightly early Xmas pressie to myself
Falcor. Male CB10 Anery Pewter (sitting in the tub I brought him home in as a hatchie 15 months previously). My first corn, and top snake in the household....he's bubbling with personality bless him
Flame. Male CB11 Fire,he was my daughters 11th Birthday present
Kalypso. Female CB11 Ultramel Anery. I was given the opportunity to take this girl for free as a non feeder, she turned out to be the most agggressive corn around food that I own!
Loki. Male CB10 Carolina. This is the snake that started my little obsession. My kids clubbed together and bought him and his set up with their money.
Ofelia. Female CB10 Hypo Plasma. My dream snake for so long. Finally got the chance to get one, went to collect a CB11 male and came home with a CB10 female lol!
Sabai. Male CB10 Bloodred Stripe,he was my sons 9th Birthday present as he was and still is obsessed with bloodreds.

Wow, they're spectacular, do love corns, although I just can't get my head round the latest morphs. Really don't know why they're looked on as 'just' starter snakes, as if this makes them uncool ...they come in an infinite, startling, variety and a 5' corn, of whatever type, is a most impressive snake. And yes, their personalities are both fascinating and extremely exuberant; how many snakes wake up and come out to help you with cleaning up?
Saffy (pleased smile on her face) - oooo I did that! Lil - yes, Saffy, I know. Give me a bit of elbow room! Saffy - BIG, isn't it? Lil - It is indeed. Look, just get your nose out, I'm trying to mop up. Saffy - What's that? Can I chase it? Lil - it's only the scoop, Saff, look, watch out, you're making me spill everything d'oh! Look, just get your tail under the hide and get out of the way, eh? Saffy (sticking her head out from underneath a hide which has been moved and is sitting askew on the aspen) - oooh Lil, here I am again, isn't this fun, Lil?
Saffy's a butter, by the way, and I also have a Carolina, an anery, a caramel motley, a snow stripe, a one eyed Miami and a ghost (that of course is Spooky lol.)
Gotta love corns! Corns for ever! |

Thankyou Same here,I think corns are fantastic snakes. The whole starter thing annoys me,I'll always have corns. Lol,love the description there! Yep,I have a select few (namely Falcor,Kalypso and Loki) that always seem proud of their presents and like to try and *help*. Had a nightmare changing Loki's water yesterday, had to shove him out of the way and he kept coming back like a bad smell....took me ages lol!
Ooh,you have some lovely morphs. |

Thanks Mort - they are my favourites ...and so have you - some of your morphs I'd never heard of; they are truly fab. I had heard of plasmas and fallen in love with them; maybe some day I'll have a plasma, though in view of corn snake behaviour I don't know why. Lol - you made me laugh with Loki, 'coming back like a bad smell'. They do! The idea of snakes being sociable and interacting with humans is often pooh-poohed, but imo it's a corn snake's mission in life to demand our company and interfere with whatever we're doing - in the nicest possible way of course. |
