Lol, the scent of Dove seems to attract my snakes ...

If they ever bring out a deodorant called 'Rat' it's going to cause a riot in this house ...

Ohh nooo!

I've only ever been wee'd on once by a royal (Shahi when he was a baby) but the corns more than make up for that.

However, I once had a Siamese cat called Majdhar (otherwise known as the Gibbon, as every meal was a case of a little Gibbon take.) I was hoping to breed from her, so she wasn't neutered, and when a Siamese is in heat, she often carries on like an entire tom, and sprays (ohh yes, girl cats pretend they've got little water pistols too!)

Anyway.

At that time I had a long-suffering partner, a truly lovely guy (we are still friends, miraculously) and he had an ear problem. The gp prescribed drops and he used them, and one evening he was sitting on the sofa as the Gibbon, who was in heat, strolled along its back.

Then she paused. What the hell was that SMELL??? She sniffed and made faces at poor Adrian's ear with the drops in it. Bloody hell, said the Gibbon, better do something about THAT!

Oh no? Ohh yes!

Before either of us could stop her, she did. She raised her tail and let fly and she PEED IN HIS EAR!!

It says much for his sweet nature that he shot upright with a yell, shaking cat wee out of his ear, but never offered to do violence to the Gibbon, who had, after all, believed she was doing him a favour.

The ear recovered, by the way. It had to be syringed, but the Gibbon always believed that it was her timely intervention that did the trick ...

Lol - no, she just wanted to syringe his ear ...

But yes, her mother Jacinth was definitely possessive - she used to sleep between us and she once went into labour in our bed. Then when she had kittens, the kittens got brought into bed ...imagine waking to a thud on the bed and little dangling paws and claws brushing across your face as fond Mamma delivers the offspring to their human babysitters ...

Never acquire a Siamese, or for that matter any sort of cat, if you want peace and quiet at night...
