ps have you tried heating ratty's nose for 30 secs with a hairdryer and wafting the scent into his open viv window while you're doing it? (Sorry if you've tried this already.) He'll eat when he feels like it - he's a royal. |

Ah, he's just being a typical royal then?
As I remember he's quite a big lad - he's probably fasting which is what they all do at this time of year (as I'm sure you know.) Unless he loses more than 10/15% of his bodyweight, no need for alarm. My Shahi's been fasting since Halloween and has only lost 5% of his bodyweight - I think they're like hibernating bears - they live on their fat lol. |

There is more snake under the wood, lol. in comparison to the thickness of the snakes neck (the thinnest bit) its not all that big.
It never hurts to drop a size to entice a stubborn Royal, also feed in the dark as its a glass tank its quite exposed. |
