Hi how do I feed 2 mice in one sitting? I couldn't get Kane's normal meal size today so was advised to feed him 2 smaller ones but ive never done this before, how do I get him to take two?

1.1.0 Normal Royal Pythons... Kane (CF11) + Frankie (CB11)
1.0.0 Spider Royal Python (CB13)
1.0.0 100% het kahl albino boa Dexter (CB13)
1.0.0 Butter Corn...
0.1.0 Snow Corn... Alice

When I have done this in the past offer one as usual when they have finished offer the second but I found mine wouldn't strike the second had to leave it in the tank

He's taken them both he didn't strike at the second but kinda grabbed it and constricted.

I've tried that one time with Blitz, two live hamsters.
gave him first one, and after he finished i waited one hour and then gave him the second.

Oh good lad - yes, it depends on the snake, but if it's still peckish there's usually no problem in getting it to take another rodent. With my colubrids I just stick both rodents in at once; with the pythons, if they're on two per meal, I wait and offer a second once the first is down.

I waited till the first wasnt visible then offered the second and he was fine my good lad :-)

I usually feed mine two rats for some reason he won't take bigger ones I try to feed about 90g per meal Wich is about 11% of his body weight but I've offered countless amounts of 90g rats and he's not interested not even I leave them in overnight but I feed him 2x 45g rats he will strike both of them no problems. I usually feed 1 then offer 2nd about an hour later and never had a problem
