hey a bit of a random one here! monty doesnt poo very often but when he does it always seems a bit runny is this normal? also do they loose much weight when they do a no 2. sorry not a very pleasent topic lol

It can be anything from a bit runny to a bit dry, suppose its how long after they've laid it that we find it. And yes they do huge weighty poops and when the mass is removed from the body then that is no longer a part of the weight of the snake.

I'm no expert on poo I'm afraid but vinnies poo is quite substantial, solid and log shaped. I got a shock at first as my king snakes poos are more like little bird poos and a bit runnier. This was a beast! I would say just keep an eye on it and not worry just yet, he might have just had a dodgy mouse :-)
