I have been breeding my own live food and my wax worm tub started to show signs of activity. I checked the mix and found LOADS of little wax worms. Anyway this is the smallest size I found.

Sitting on a tea spoon.

The rest were a good bit bigger. I will have more than I know what to do with soon. The meal worm are doing great too and the Roaches are just everywhere. I wonder if they make a good stew, there is a credit crunch on after all.

This is actually going to gross people out but I am looking into what bugs you can cook and eat and which you cant and I do fully plan on trying it and possibly just possibly perfecting it.

Oh yeah mealworm are quite edible, i'm sure they are very crunchy. I've eaten a few bugs over the years the crunchy one I remember was a chocolate covered scorpion.
